Join us for local’s favorite night, a celebration of surf culture, community, and the ocean, presented by Finisterre and Patagonia with opening surf tunes by Par Avion. Settle in for a screening of Granny Grommet and Sensing Home, and a talk story with special guests.

COAST SUMMIT | THURSDAY OCTOBER 22ND FROM 9AM - 4PM

Presented by A New Earth Project, the Coast Summit is a gathering of visionaries and changemakers who are redefining what is possible for people and planet. This year, the focus of the Summit is The Intelligence of Nature. Learn from industry leaders, build your network, and get inspired.

OPENING NIGHT & AFTER PARTY | FRIDAY OCTOBER 16TH @ 7PM | SOLD OUT

Kickstart your festival experience at Opening Night with a screening of SURFILMUSIC, the story of Jack Johnson’s evolution from surfer and filmmaker to globally recognized musician. Then keep the celebration going at the Opening Night After Party at SHACC. A SURFILMUSIC ticket includes admission to the After Party, so come for the film and stay for the night.

CHANGEMAKER DINNER | OCTOBER 21ST @ 5PM | SOLD OUT

One of the most beloved experiences of the festival, Changemaker Dinner is a farm-to-table meal at The Ecology Center joined by filmmakers, musicians, conservationists, athletes, and industry leaders. Enjoy a beautiful meal amongst great company, listen to live music from Ron Artis II, and watch some films to gear up for closing weekend of the festival.

The official 2026 film lineup is available now!

Passholders receive first access to register for all events. Patron Passholders will be able to pre-register for films beginning September 23. Closing Weekend VIP Passholders will be able to pre-register for films beginning September 24. All Access Passholders will be able to pre-register for films beginning September 25. All Film, Opening Weekend & Closing Weekend Passes will be able to pre-register for films beginning September 26. Individual tickets will be on sale September 28 (dependent upon availability).

Many CFMF Passes provide access to all three nights of concerts at the Irvine Bowl on Closing Weekend of CFMF. If you are a Passholder, be sure to reserve your seat in advance through your Eventive account.

Doors to the Festival of Arts open at 3pm. Doors to the Irvine Bowl open at 5:30pm. Show starts at 6:30pm. A concert ticket to any Irvine Bowl concert gets you in to Festival of Arts for the day. Come early to enjoy local food, drinks, merchandise, retail and entertainment booths from our partners, live music, and more!
