Produced by Marriott’s award-winning Content Studio, The Power of Travel documentary short films follow inspirational humans creating a better world through travel by building communities all over the world.

José Gonzalez, founder of Latino Outdoors, came to the U.S. from Mexico at nine and found a sense of belonging through nature. His organization connects Latinos across 13 states, fostering a shared experience of the outdoors through hiking, foraging, and exploring together. Gonzalez's connection to nature began with seeing California Redwoods, which he likens to ancestors telling us we belong, reminding everyone that we don't have to travel far to find the magic of the world.
