A Celebration of Outdoor Spirit, Adventure, Conservation & Personal Triumph

Coast Film & Music Festival Dates: November 9 -17

The Coast Film & Music Festival (CFMF) is thrilled to announce its return for the sixth annual event, November 9-17, 2024. This year’s festival is nine days of entertainment, featuring a diverse lineup of independent documentary short and long-form films, live music from top artists, and insightful panel discussions with top athletes and experts. Set against the stunning backdrop of Laguna Beach, the festival also offers outdoor experiences to enjoy the natural beauty while engaging with the arts.

CFMF is the flagship event of the Coast Film Foundation (CFF), which hosts a wide range of events year-round to support emerging filmmakers, foster community partnerships, and inspire positive change through the power of film and storytelling.

CFMF offers collaboration among creators and diverse communities, sparking innovative ideas and embodying the essence of outdoor lifestyle, culture, conservation, and adventure. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Festival of the Arts Fairgrounds in Laguna Beach, the festival promises an immersive experience.

This year marks the return of the Coast Summit presented by A New Earth Project, a day-long event focused on impact storytelling and environmental conservation that kicks off the Coast Film and Music Festival. Last year's inaugural summit featured speaker panels and workshops led by sustainability experts and professional athletes, including Jeremy Jones, Obi Kaufmann, Amie Engrebretson, Timmy O’Neill, Kai Lenny, Greg Long, and others. It attracted an audience of 200+, consisting of passionate changemakers, athletes, creators, industry professionals, city leaders, and college and high school students.
